Troponin T-C Antibody (CT3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Troponin T-C protein of broad species origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-Troponin T-C antibody (CT3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Troponin T-C plays a critical role in muscle contraction by facilitating the interaction between actin and myosin, which are essential for muscle fiber contraction and relaxation. Troponin T-C is part of the troponin complex, which also includes Troponin I and Troponin C, and is specifically important in cardiac muscle where Troponin T-C helps regulate contraction in response to calcium levels.
