SEE ALSO...

Troponin C slow skeletal/cardiac Antibody (7B9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Troponin C slow skeletal/cardiac protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-Troponin C slow skeletal/cardiac antibody (7B9) is available as the non-conjugated format. Troponin C slow skeletal/cardiac (7B9) antibody plays a critical role in muscle contraction by binding calcium ions, which induces conformational changes that facilitate the interaction between actin and myosin, the two primary proteins responsible for muscle contraction. This interaction is essential for various physiological processes, including heartbeats and skeletal muscle movements, making Troponin C slow skeletal/cardiac protein a vital component in muscle function regulation. Troponin C slow skeletal/cardiac protein exists in two isoforms, fast and slow, with the slow isoform being particularly important in cardiac muscle, where Troponin C slow skeletal/cardiac protein helps modulate the contractile response to calcium levels. A unique structure characterized by a dumbbell shape and hydrophobic pocket allows Troponin C slow skeletal/cardiac protein to effectively bind calcium, thereby enhancing muscle fiber contractile force. Understanding Troponin C slow skeletal/cardiac protein function and dynamics is crucial for elucidating mechanisms underlying muscle physiology and pathophysiology, particularly in conditions such as heart disease and muscle disorders.
