TrkB Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody engineered to detect Trk A (NTRK1), Trk B (NTRK2), and Trk C (NTRK3) in human samples, as well as Trk C in mouse and rat, and Trk proteins in porcine species through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TrkB antibody (C-8) specifically binds to an epitope mapping between amino acids 809-825 at the C-terminus of the porcine Trk protein, ensuring reliable detection of these critical receptors. TrkB, also known as NTRK2, is a member of the tropomyosin receptor kinase family and functions as a key tyrosine kinase receptor for neurotrophic factors like brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and neurotrophin-4/5 (NT-4/5).
