TRIM26 Antibody (A-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TRIM26 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TRIM26 (A-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TRIM26, also known as RNF95, AFP (acid finger protein), or ZNF173 (zinc finger protein 173), is a 539 amino acid member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family, which is characterized by a conserved TRIM domain that includes a coiled-coil region, a B-box type zinc finger, a RING finger, and three zinc-binding domains. TRIM26 plays a crucial role in the regulation of immune responses and has been implicated in the binding of nucleic acids, which is essential for its function in cellular signaling and defense mechanisms. The gene encoding TRIM26 is located on human chromosome 6, a region that is highly conserved across species, highlighting its evolutionary significance. TRIM26 is expressed in various tissues, indicating potential involvement in diverse biological processes.
