TRIAD1 Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TRIAD1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TRIAD1 (C-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TRIAD1 protein, also known as ARIH2 or ARI2, is a 493 amino acid protein characterized by one IBR-type zinc finger and two RING-type zinc fingers, which are crucial for functioning as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. TRIAD1 is primarily localized in the nucleus, where TRIAD1 plays a vital role in the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway by facilitating ubiquitin transfer from E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes to target substrates, thereby regulating protein degradation and cellular homeostasis. TRIAD1 undergoes post-translational modifications, including DNA damage-dependent phosphorylation, likely mediated by ATM or ATR kinases, which can influence activity and interactions. TRIAD1 is encoded on human chromosome 3, a region containing over 1,100 genes, including those associated with various cancers, highlighting TRIAD1′s potential significance in tumor biology and cellular stress responses.
