SEE ALSO...

TRAF4 Antibody (B-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TRAF4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TRAF4 (B-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TRAF4 protein plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the context of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor superfamily, which is essential for mediating immune responses and inflammation. TRAF4, originally known as CART1, is specifically expressed in breast carcinomas and is localized to the nucleus, where TRAF4 is involved in the regulation of gene expression in response to TNF receptor activation. This nuclear localization suggests TRAF4 may influence the transcriptional activity of target genes that are critical for cell survival and proliferation, particularly in cancerous tissues. Understanding TRAF4 function and localization is vital for elucidating TRAF4′s role in tumorigenesis and potential therapeutic targeting in cancer treatment.
