SEE ALSO...

TRADD Antibody (A-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TRADD protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-TRADD antibody (A-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TRADD protein plays a crucial role in mediating apoptosis in response to external signals such as FAS ligand and tumor necrosis factors, which are vital for regulating cell death and maintaining tissue homeostasis. Located primarily in the cytoplasm, TRADD interacts with death domain-containing receptors, facilitating the transmission of apoptotic signals. This interaction is essential for the activation of downstream signaling pathways that lead to apoptosis, highlighting TRADD′s importance in cellular responses to stress and inflammation. TRADD′s ability to activate nuclear factor kappa B (NFkB) in the absence of tumor necrosis factor underscores its dual role in promoting cell survival and apoptosis, making TRADD a critical component in the balance between cell death and survival.
