    SEE ALSO...

TR2 Antibody (D-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TR2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TR2 (D-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TR2, an orphan receptor belonging to the steroid/thyroid hormone receptor superfamily, plays a crucial role in regulating essential biological processes such as growth, differentiation, and development. TR2 is involved in the transcriptional regulation of several key genes, including erythropoietin, which is vital for red blood cell production, and the muscle-specific aldolase A gene, which is important for energy metabolism in muscle tissues. TR2 interacts with TR4, a related orphan receptor, to form heterodimers that are implicated in neurogenesis and germ cell development. TR2 expression is influenced by factors such as p53 and ionizing radiation, suggesting a potential role in linking stress responses to steroid receptor signaling pathways. This multifaceted involvement in gene regulation and cellular processes underscores TR2′s importance in both normal physiology and disease states, making anti-TR2 antibody (D-4) a valuable tool for researchers studying these critical biological functions.
