SEE ALSO...

TNIK Antibody (53) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TNIK in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-TNIK antibody (53) is available in a non-conjugated form, providing researchers with a versatile tool for studying TNIK′s role in various biological processes. TNIK, or TRAF2 and NCK-interacting protein kinase, is a significant 1,360 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in response to environmental stress. TNIK contains a protein kinase domain and is classified within the serine/threonine protein kinase family, which is essential for the phosphorylation and dephosphorylation of proteins on serine and threonine residues. This post-translational modification is vital for regulating cellular functions, including cell division, apoptosis, and maintaining cellular homeostasis. TNIK is expressed ubiquitously, with highest levels found in the brain, heart, and skeletal muscle, indicating importance in both neuronal and muscular functions. TNIK exists in eight isoforms generated through alternative splicing, which may contribute to diverse functional roles in different tissues. TNIK monoclonal antibody (53) enables researchers to gain insights into mechanisms by which TNIK influences cellular responses to stress and potential implications in various diseases.
