TNFα-IP 1 Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TNFα-IP 1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TNFα-IP 1 (F-4) antibody is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TNFα-IP 1, also known as tumor necrosis factor, alpha-induced protein 1, endothelial, or by alternative names B12, B61, and EDP1, is a member of the BTB/POZ domain-containing protein family, specifically the KCTD10/KCTD13/TNFAIP1 group. TNFα-IP 1 plays a crucial role in cellular processes such as DNA repair and apoptosis, which are vital for maintaining genomic stability and regulating cell death. A BTB/POZ motif in TNFα-IP 1 facilitates interactions essential for transcriptional regulation and chromatin remodeling, thereby influencing gene expression in response to cellular stressors. TNFα-IP 1 expression can be induced by interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor alpha in endothelial cells, linking TNFα-IP 1 to inflammatory responses and potential implications in cancer progression and innate immunity against viral infections, such as Hepatitis B.

How much sample do you recommend loading on the gel for Western blot detection using TNFα-IP 1 (F-4): sc-515765?

Asked by: cjMara
We recommend loading 40–60 µg whole cell lysate, 10–20 µg nuclear extract, 5-10 µg transfected lysate, or 10–20 ng purified protein per lane. A link to our complete Western blotting protocol is provided here for your reference: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/western-immuno-blotting
