TNFβ Antibody (359-81-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects tumor necrosis factor beta (TNFβ) in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and flow cytometry (FCM). TNFβ is a pleiotropic cytokine primarily produced by activated lymphocytes, including CD4(+) T helper type 1 cells, CD8(+) lymphocytes, and certain B lymphoblastoid cell lines, playing a crucial role in immune regulation and inflammation. TNFβ monoclonal antibody (359-81-11) helps researchers study this protein′s ability to modulate various immune responses and inhibit tumor growth, making TNFβ a significant target for therapeutic interventions in cancer and autoimmune diseases. Notably, TNFβ interacts with TNF receptors 1 and 2 on target tumor cells, with the p55 receptor being particularly critical for mediating the cytotoxic response. Understanding the interactions and signaling pathways involving TNFβ is essential for developing strategies to enhance therapeutic efficacy and mitigate adverse effects in clinical settings. Anti-TNFβ antibody (359-81-11) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers investigating the complex roles of this cytokine in health and disease.

Thank you for your question. We do not have any data or product citations using this antibody for immunohistochemistry in paraffin-embedded tissue sections and so IHC(P) is not a recommended application at this time.

How can TNFβ (359-81-11): sc-32767 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

    Asked by: AbPolly
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-32767 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-32767 FITC).
