    SEE ALSO...

TMEM205 Antibody (B-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TMEM205 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TMEM205 monoclonal antibody (B-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TMEM205, a 189 amino acid transmembrane protein, plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in cancer therapy, as TMEM205 has been implicated in developing resistance to cisplatin, a widely used platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent. Elevated levels of TMEM205, along with Rab 8, have been associated with reduced sensitivity to cisplatin, highlighting TMEM205′s potential as a biomarker for predicting treatment outcomes in cancer patients. TMEM205 is predominantly expressed in the liver, pancreas, and adrenal glands, which are vital organs involved in metabolism and hormone regulation, making TMEM205 study essential for understanding normal physiology and disease states. TMEM205 gene is located on human chromosome 19, which contains approximately 63 million bases and over 1,400 genes, representing more than 2% of the human genome. Anti-TMEM205 antibody (B-5) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers investigating drug resistance mechanisms and therapeutic potential in cancer treatment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tmem205This antibody yielded decent results for western blotting in ES mouse cells. I was able to discern the band however there was some non-specific banding, though this result could be due to many reasons.
