TMEM17 Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TMEM17 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TMEM17 (G-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TMEM17 protein, also known as transmembrane protein 17, consists of 198 amino acids and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 2, which is notable for its size and number of genes. TMEM17 protein is primarily localized in the endoplasmic reticulum and plays a crucial role in cellular processes such as protein folding and trafficking, which are essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and function. Disruptions in TMEM17 function can lead to various cellular dysfunctions, highlighting TMEM17′s importance in health and disease. Additionally, TMEM17 has been implicated in interactions with other proteins involved in cellular signaling pathways, further underscoring TMEM17′s significance in cellular biology. Anti-TMEM17 antibody (G-10) effectively detects TMEM17 across multiple species and applications, making this research tool valuable for studying TMEM17′s role in various biological contexts.
