    SEE ALSO...

TMEM116 Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects TMEM116 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TMEM116 (B-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TMEM116 protein, consisting of 228 amino acids, plays a critical role in cellular processes, particularly in membrane trafficking regulation and cellular homeostasis maintenance. TMEM116 function is essential for normal cellular pathways, and TMEM116 dysregulation has been implicated in various diseases, including skeletal deformities and developmental disorders. TMEM116 gene is located on human chromosome 12, which harbors over 1,100 genes and is associated with several genetic conditions, such as Noonan syndrome and various skeletal dysplasias. Understanding TMEM116 function and cellular interactions is vital for elucidating these disorders′ underlying mechanisms and developing potential therapeutic strategies.
