SEE ALSO...

TLR5 Antibody (19D759.2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TLR5 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-TLR5 antibody (19D759.2) is available in a non-conjugated form, allowing for versatile experimental use. TLR5, a member of the Toll-like receptor family, plays a crucial role in the innate immune response by recognizing bacterial flagellin, which is essential for the activation of immune signaling pathways. TLR5 is predominantly located on the cell surface of immune cells, particularly in monocytes and macrophages, where TLR5 initiates a cascade of immune responses upon detection of pathogens. TLR5 expression in these immune cells is vital for the early detection of infections, as TLR5 triggers the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and enhances the overall immune response. TLR5 is highly expressed in the ovary and peripheral blood leukocytes, indicating TLR5′s importance in both reproductive and immune functions. Understanding TLR5′s role in immune signaling not only sheds light on host defense mechanisms but also provides insights into potential therapeutic targets for inflammatory diseases and infections.
