TIMP-1 Antibody (2A5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TIMP-1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. TIMP-1 (2A5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TIMP-1, or tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases 1, plays a crucial role in regulating extracellular matrix remodeling by inhibiting metalloproteinases, which are enzymes responsible for the degradation of various components of the extracellular matrix.
