TIAR Antibody (6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TIAR in mouse, rat, human, and canine samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). TIAR, or T-cell intracellular antigen 1, is a crucial type I transmembrane protein that plays a significant role in the regulation of apoptosis and cellular stress responses. Located primarily in the nucleus, TIAR is involved in the post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression, particularly in response to stress signals, which is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing uncontrolled cell proliferation. Upon Fas ligation, TIAR is rapidly translocated to the cytoplasm, where TIAR participates in the apoptotic signaling cascade, leading to DNA fragmentation. This translocation is essential for the initiation of apoptosis, highlighting TIAR′s importance in immune responses and the elimination of damaged or infected cells. Additionally, TIAR interacts with various proteins, including the serine/threonine kinase FAST, which is activated following Fas engagement and specifically phosphorylates TIAR, further modulating TIAR′s function in apoptosis. Anti-TIAR antibody (6) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying the mechanisms of apoptosis and TIAR′s role in various cellular processes.
