TIAR Antibody (6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TIAR in mouse, rat, human, and canine samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). TIAR, or T-cell intracellular antigen 1, is a crucial type I transmembrane protein that plays a significant role in the regulation of apoptosis and cellular stress responses. Located primarily in the nucleus, TIAR is involved in the post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression, particularly in response to stress signals, which is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing uncontrolled cell proliferation. Upon Fas ligation, TIAR is rapidly translocated to the cytoplasm, where TIAR participates in the apoptotic signaling cascade, leading to DNA fragmentation.
