TIA-1 Antibody (G-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TIA-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TIA-1 Antibody (G-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TIA-1 protein is crucial for regulating apoptosis and is primarily located in the granules of cytotoxic lymphocytes, where TIA-1 plays a significant role in the immune response by promoting the death of infected or cancerous cells. This localization allows TIA-1 to effectively mediate the elimination of cells that pose a threat to the organism, maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing the proliferation of potentially harmful cells.
