THOC6 Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects THOC6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-THOC6 antibody (B-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. THOC6, also known as WDR58 (WD-repeat-containing protein 58), is a 341 amino acid protein characterized by seven WD-repeats, which are structural motifs that typically form a tertiary propeller configuration. These WD-repeats are crucial for THOC6′s role in the THO/TREX complex, which regulates gene expression by facilitating the coupling of RNA polymerase II with RNA splicing and export factors during transcription elongation. THOC6 maintains cellular homeostasis by influencing chromatin assembly, cell cycle control, and RNA processing. Multiple isoforms of THOC6 exist due to alternative splicing, highlighting complex regulatory functions and involvement in various cellular pathways.
