THOC3 Antibody (A-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects THOC3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). THOC3 Antibody (A-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. THOC3, also known as TEX1, is a 351 amino acid protein localized in the nucleus and characterized by six WD repeats, which form a tertiary propeller structure. These WD repeats facilitate THOC3′s involvement in chromatin assembly, cell cycle control, signal transduction, RNA processing, apoptosis, and vesicular trafficking. As a key component of the heteromultimeric THO/TREX (transcription/export) complex, THOC3 couples RNA polymerase II elongation with RNA splicing and export factors, contributing to transcription and RNA export processes. THOC3′s interactions with various proteins in these pathways highlight THOC3′s role in maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating gene expression.
