TGFβ RII Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody designed to detect the transforming growth factor beta receptor type II (TGFβ RII), also known as TGFBR2, in human, mouse, and rat samples. TGFβ RII monoclonal antibody (E-6) recognizes the full-length human TGFβ RII protein, encompassing amino acids 1-567, and is compatible with various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TGFβ RII is a vital transmembrane protein located on the cell surface, where TGFβ RII plays a key role in the TGF-beta signaling pathway by binding TGF-beta ligands. Upon ligand binding, TGFβ RII phosphorylates and activates type I receptors, which subsequently trigger downstream Smad proteins to regulate gene expression. This signaling mechanism is crucial for controlling essential cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis, thereby maintaining cellular homeostasis. Disruptions in TGFβ RII function are linked to a range of diseases, including cancer, fibrosis, and autoimmune disorders, underscoring TGFβ RII′s importance as a therapeutic target. Anti-TGFβ RII antibody (E-6) is available in both conjugated and non-conjugated forms, including horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and Alexa Fluor® conjugates, offering versatility for diverse research needs. TGFβ RII (E-6) antibody enables advanced research into the TGF-beta signaling pathways and their implications in various biological and pathological contexts.
