    SEE ALSO...

TFIIIC220 Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TFIIIC220 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TFIIIC220 (F-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TFIIIC220 plays a crucial role in gene transcription by RNA polymerase III, which synthesizes essential RNA molecules such as tRNA and 5S rRNA. TFIIIC220 functions as a key component of the TFIIIC2 transcription factor complex, composed of several subunits including TFIIIC220, TFIIIC110, TFIIIC102, TFIIIC90, and TFIIIC63. This complex recruits RNA polymerase III and the TFIIIB complex to promoter elements, facilitating transcription of genes necessary for cell survival and function. TFIIIC220 expression and associated subunits are often upregulated in malignant cells, such as those found in ovarian carcinomas, highlighting a potential role in cancer biology and transcriptional control deregulation in tumorigenesis.
