SEE ALSO...

TFIIB Antibody (D-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TFIIB protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TFIIB (D-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TFIIB protein plays a crucial role in the initiation of transcription by RNA polymerase II, acting as a key component of the transcription machinery. TFIIB is essential for the formation of the pre-initiation complex, which is necessary for accurate transcription of protein-coding genes. TFIIB interacts with the TATA-binding protein and RNA polymerase II, facilitating the recruitment of these components to the core promoter region. This interaction is vital for the proper assembly of the transcription machinery, ensuring that gene expression is regulated accurately. TFIIB′s ability to bridge the gap between the transcription factors and RNA polymerase II underscores TFIIB′s importance in the transcription process, making anti-TFIIB antibody (D-3) an invaluable tool for researchers studying gene regulation and transcriptional control in various biological contexts.
