    SEE ALSO...

TEX13A Antibody (F-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects TEX13A in mouse and rat samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TEX13A (F-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TEX13A, or Testis-expressed sequence 13A, is a 409 amino acid protein predominantly expressed in the testis, where TEX13A plays a crucial role in the pre-meiotic stages of spermatogenesis. TEX13A contains a RanBP2-type zinc finger domain, which facilitates nucleocytoplasmic transport, a vital process for proper germ cell function. The gene encoding TEX13A is located on the X chromosome, and TEX13A′s involvement in spermatogenesis is underscored by the association of chromosomal translocations in this region with azoospermia, a condition marked by the absence of sperm in male semen. Understanding TEX13A′s function and regulation is essential, as research may provide insights into male fertility and genetic factors influencing reproductive health.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390891 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
