SEE ALSO...

TET3 Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects TET3 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TET3 (D-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TET3, or tet oncogene family member 3, is a 1,660 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in DNA demethylation, a process essential for regulating gene expression and maintaining cellular identity. TET3 function is particularly important in development and differentiation, as aberrations in DNA methylation patterns can lead to various diseases, including cancer. TET3 is expressed in several tissues, including the fetal and adult brain, muscle, colon, and adrenal gland, and exists in multiple alternatively spliced isoforms, which may contribute to diverse functional roles. TET3 gene is located on human chromosome 2, a region that contains over 1,400 genes and represents nearly 8% of the human genome, highlighting the complexity and significance of genetic regulation in health and disease.
