TEL2 Antibody (E-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TEL2 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TEL2 (E-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TEL2, also known as ETV7, TREF, or TELB, is a 341 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation as a repressor, binding specifically to the DNA sequence 5′-CCGGAAGT-3′. TEL2 is primarily expressed in hematopoietic tissues and is part of the Ets family, which is characterized by a highly conserved carboxy terminal domain essential for DNA binding activity. TEL2 involvement in gene expression regulation is critical for normal cellular function and development. Notably, defects in TEL2 have been linked to B-cell malignancies, highlighting TEL2′s significant role in carcinogenesis. Additionally, alternative splicing of TEL2 results in seven isoforms (designated A-G), which may have distinct regulatory functions and implications in various biological processes.
