    SEE ALSO...

TCR V β 10 Antibody (G101) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TCR V beta 10 protein of mouse and rat origin by flow cytometry (FCM) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TCR V beta 10 antibody (G101) is available as the non-conjugated format. The T cell antigen receptor (TCR) plays a crucial role in the immune response by recognizing foreign antigens and initiating intracellular signaling pathways that lead to T cell activation. This process is vital for the adaptive immune system, as TCR enables T cells to respond effectively to pathogens. TCR is a heterodimer composed of either alpha and beta or gamma and delta chains, with the majority of circulating T cells (approximately 95%) expressing the alpha/beta heterodimer. TCR repertoire diversity, essential for recognizing a wide array of antigens, is achieved through somatic recombination of variable (V), diversity (D), and joining (J) gene segments during T cell development. TCR beta and gamma chain genes are located in distinct loci, while alpha and delta chain genes are found within a single locus. Genetic mutations in TCR beta locus have been linked to T cell lymphoma development, highlighting TCR integrity′s importance in maintaining immune health.
