TCL-1B Antibody (NDOG1) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects T cell leukemia/lymphoma protein 1B (TCL-1B) in human samples through immunofluorescence (IF) and flow cytometry (FCM) applications. TCL-1B, also known as TML1, TCL/MTCP1-like 1, syncytiotrophoblast-specific protein, and SYN-1, plays a critical role in T cell prolymphocytic leukemia (T-PLL) and is located on human chromosome 14q32.1, a region frequently implicated in chromosomal translocations and inversions associated with T cell leukemias and lymphomas. The activation of TCL-1B through these chromosomal rearrangements highlights TCL-1B′s significance in oncogenic processes. Notably, TCL-1B′s crystal structure suggests TCL-1B may facilitate the transport of small molecules, including retinoids, nucleotides, and fatty acids, which are essential for various cellular functions and signaling pathways.
