TCL-1B Antibody (F-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects T cell leukemia/lymphoma protein 1B (TCL-1B) in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TCL-1B, also known as TML1, TCL/MTCP1-like 1, syncytiotrophoblast-specific protein, and SYN-1, plays a critical role in T cell prolymphocytic leukemia (T-PLL) and is located on human chromosome 14q32.1, a region frequently implicated in chromosomal translocations and inversions associated with T cell leukemias and lymphomas. The crystal structure of TCL-1B indicates potential involvement in the transport of small molecules, including retinoids, nucleotides, and fatty acids, which are essential for various cellular processes. TCL-1B is expressed in both the nucleus and cytoplasm of normal bone marrow and peripheral lymphocytes, highlighting TCL-1B′s importance in cellular signaling and function.
