Datasheets
  • TANK Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 2-26 at the N-terminus of TANK of mouse origin
  • recommended for detection of TANK of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including and equine, canine, bovine and porcine
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP and m-IgG1 BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for TANK Antibody (B-12) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with TANK Antibody (B-12) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

TANK Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TANK in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TANK, or TRAF family member-associated NF-kB activator, plays a crucial role in the regulation of the NF-kB signaling pathway, which is vital for immune response, inflammation, and cell survival. Located primarily in the cytoplasm, TANK interacts with TRAF proteins, particularly TRAF2, to modulate the activation of NF-kB. This interaction helps to control the cellular response to various stimuli, including cytokines and stress signals. The regulatory carboxy-terminal domain of TANK is essential for maintaining inactivity in unstimulated cells, ensuring that NF-kB activation occurs only when necessary. Anti-TANK antibody (B-12) enables researchers to explore the dynamics of NF-kB signaling and its implications in various diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders, thereby advancing our understanding of cellular signaling mechanisms.
