TAF I p48 Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TAF I p48 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TAF I p48 (A-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TAF I p48 protein plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene transcription, particularly in the assembly of the transcription factor SL1, which is essential for RNA polymerase I-mediated transcription. TAF I p48 is part of a larger complex that includes other TAF subunits, and TAF I p48′s interaction with the TATA-binding protein (TBP) is vital for the formation of specific transcription initiation complexes at the promoter. TAF I p48′s ability to bind selectively to TBP, in conjunction with other TAFs, is important for ensuring the precise regulation of gene expression, which is critical for cellular function and response to environmental signals. Using anti-TAF I p48 antibody (A-10) in research can provide insights into the mechanisms of transcription regulation and the role of TAFs in various biological processes.
