SEE ALSO...

T-Plastin Antibody (A-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects T-Plastin protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). T-Plastin antibody (A-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. T-Plastin, a member of the plastin family of actin-binding proteins, plays a crucial role in cytoskeletal organization and is expressed in a wide range of tissues, distinguishing T-Plastin from L-Plastin, which is primarily found in hematopoietic cells. T-Plastin′s ability to bind actin filaments is essential for maintaining cell shape and motility, which is particularly important in processes such as wound healing and immune responses. T-Plastin expression is absent in leukocytes, making T-Plastin a valuable marker for distinguishing between different cell types in various biological contexts. T-Plastin regulation is also significant, as T-Plastin can influence cellular dynamics and interactions, thereby impacting processes such as cancer progression and metastasis.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-166208 P appropriate for?

Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
