    SEE ALSO...

Synaptotagmin V Antibody (F-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Synaptotagmin V (SYT5) of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Synaptotagmin V antibody (F-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Synaptotagmin V (F-7) monoclonal antibody recognizes a member of the synaptotagmin family, which consists of integral membrane proteins that play crucial roles in regulating exocytosis and endocytosis, particularly in neurotransmitter release from synaptic vesicles. SYT5 is primarily located in dense-core vesicles, where SYT5 acts as a calcium sensor, facilitating neurotransmitter release in response to calcium influx. This function is vital for synaptic transmission and communication between neurons, making SYT5 essential for proper nervous system function. Additionally, SYT5 interaction with other proteins, such as synaptophysin and complexin, underscores SYT5′s role in the intricate machinery of synaptic vesicle exocytosis. Dysregulation of SYT5 and associated pathways has been implicated in various neurological disorders, highlighting SYT5′s importance in both health and disease.
