SEE ALSO...

Synaptotagmin I/II Antibody (H-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Synaptotagmin I/II protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Synaptotagmin I/II antibody (H-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Synaptotagmins are integral membrane proteins that play a crucial role in regulating synaptic transmission, specifically in exocytosis and endocytosis processes. Synaptotagmin I acts as a calcium sensor, binding calcium ions to trigger neurotransmitter release at synapses, facilitating communication between neurons. Synaptotagmin II undergoes phosphorylation by WNK1, which modulates calcium-dependent interactions, highlighting post-translational modifications′ significance in functional regulation. A diverse family of synaptotagmins, including Synaptotagmin III, IV, V, and VII, demonstrates essential roles in various cellular contexts, including endocrine cells and neuronal tissues, with potential implications in psychiatric disorders due to brain expression patterns.

I need to ask what concentration of Synaptotagmin I/II antibody needs to be use for IHC .I treid 1:50 but it did not work at all. Also need to know the secondary antibody concentration. There is no reference for IHC

Asked by: Saima
Thank you for your question. For the primary antibody 1:50-1:500 and 1:100-1:400 for the secondary. https://www.scbt.com/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393392 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
