    SEE ALSO...

Ste7 Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Ste7 protein of Saccharomyces cerevisiae origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Ste7 (B-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Ste7 protein plays a crucial role in the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling cascade, which is essential for cellular responses to external stimuli. Specifically, Ste7 functions as a MAP kinase kinase (MAPKK) that activates downstream MAP kinases Fus3 and Kss1, which are pivotal in regulating gene expression related to mating and cell cycle arrest in yeast. Proper functioning of this signaling pathway is vital for yeast′s ability to respond to pheromonal signals, ensuring successful mating and adaptation to environmental changes. Using anti-Ste7 antibody (B-12) in research can provide insights into the intricate mechanisms of signal transduction and physiological processes governed by the MAPK pathway in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
