SEE ALSO...

Stat2 Antibody (A-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Stat2 protein of human origin through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Stat2 (A-7) antibody is offered in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase, phycoerythrin, fluorescein isothiocyanate, and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Stat2 protein plays a crucial role in signaling pathways activated by interferons and growth factors, particularly in formation of ISGF3 transcription factor complex alongside Stat1. ISGF3 complex is essential for mediating transcriptional response to interferons, which are vital for immune response against viral infections and for regulating cell growth and differentiation. Stat2 forms heterodimers with Stat1 to enhance specificity and efficacy of signaling cascade, underscoring importance in immune regulation and cellular communication. Stat2 (A-7) monoclonal antibody enables valuable insights into mechanisms of immune signaling and role of transcription factors in cellular responses.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-1668 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
