STAM2 Antibody (F-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects STAM2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). STAM2 (F-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. STAM2 protein, also known as Hbp, plays a crucial role in signaling pathways activated by cytokines, functioning downstream of Janus kinases (JAKs). STAM2 is involved in regulation of gene expression through induction of transcription factors such as c-Myc, which is essential for cell proliferation and survival. STAM2 undergoes tyrosine phosphorylation by JAK3 and JAK2 upon cytokine stimulation, which is vital for signal transduction function. STAM2 exists in two isoforms, STAM2A and STAM2B, due to alternative splicing, allowing for diverse regulatory roles in cellular responses to growth factors and cytokines. Specific motifs within STAM2, such as Src homology 3 (SH3) and immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation (ITAM) motifs, are critical for interaction with other signaling proteins and for mediating cellular responses necessary for effective immune function and hematopoiesis.
