SEE ALSO...

SSRP1 Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects SSRP1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SSRP1 antibody (D-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SSRP1 plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression, particularly in chromatin structure and function. SSRP1 functions as a key component of the FACT complex, essential for transcription of chromatin templates. Through interactions with nucleosomes and histone H2A/H2B dimers, SSRP1 facilitates nucleosome disassembly during transcription, allowing RNA polymerase to access DNA. This process ensures efficient transcription of protein-coding genes in the tightly packed chromatin environment. SSRP1 also interacts with serum response factors, serving as a positive co-regulatory protein that enhances SRF-dependent gene expression, highlighting SSRP1′s significance in cellular processes.

Are there any issues with using sc-74536: SSRP1 (D-7) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-74536 conjugates.
