SR-B1 Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SR-B1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SR-B1 (F-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The scavenger receptor class B type 1 (SR-B1) plays a crucial role in lipid metabolism by mediating the selective uptake of cholesterol and cholesterol esters from high-density lipoproteins (HDLs) into cells, which is vital for maintaining cellular cholesterol homeostasis and overall lipid balance.
