Datasheets
  • SPARCL1 Antibody (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgM κ SPARCL1 antibody, cited in 5 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 586-600 within a C-terminal extracellular domain of SPARCL1 of mouse origin
  • recommended for detection of SPARCL1 of human and rat origin and Sc1 of mouse origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for SPARCL1 Antibody (G-5) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with SPARCL1 Antibody (G-5) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

SEE ALSO...

SPARCL1 Antibody (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects SPARCL1 of human, rat, and mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SPARCL1 antibody (G-5) is available as a non-conjugated format. SPARC-like protein 1 (SPARCL1), also known as high endothelial venule protein (Hevin) or MAST9, is a 664 amino acid member of the SPARC family of proteins, characterized by a unique structure including one EF-hand domain, one follistatin-like domain, and one Kazal-like domain. This intricate structure facilitates SPARCL1′s interactions with various extracellular matrix components and other proteins, influencing cellular processes such as adhesion, migration, and proliferation. SPARCL1 shows high expression in lymph nodes, heart, lung, brain, skeletal muscle, ovary, colon, and small intestine, playing a significant role in neuronal remodeling and tumor suppression, making SPARCL1 an important target for research in cancer biology and developmental processes. The gene encoding SPARCL1 is located on chromosome 4q22.1, highlighting genetic significance in various physiological and pathological contexts.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514275 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
