    SEE ALSO...

SPAG4 Antibody (H-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SPAG4 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SPAG4 (H-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SPAG4, or sperm associated antigen 4, is a 427 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that plays a crucial role in the organization and assembly of outer dense fibers (ODFs) within the mammalian sperm flagellum. SPAG4 localization is particularly important as SPAG4 is found in the transient manchette and axoneme of elongating spermatids and epididymal sperm, where SPAG4 contributes to the structural integrity and functionality of the sperm tail. SPAG4 exists as a homodimer and interacts with Odf1, suggesting a significant role in the assembly of the cytoskeletal structures that are essential for sperm motility. Additionally, the presence of a SUN domain in SPAG4 indicates SPAG4′s potential involvement in nuclear-cytoskeletal connections, making SPAG4 a candidate for further investigation as a cancer marker.
