    SEE ALSO...

Sp110 Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects human Sp110 by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Sp110 Antibody (B-10) is available in non-conjugated form and conjugated to agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® variants. Sp110, also known as Speckled 110 kDa, IPR1, VODI, IFI41, or IFI75, is a phosphoprotein belonging to the SP-100/SP140 family of nuclear body components. Sp110 functions as a transcriptional coactivator of nuclear hormone receptors, regulating gene expression in response to hormonal signals. Sp110 monoclonal antibody (B-10) recognizes a protein induced by interferon-gamma and all-trans retinoic acid, contributing to immunoprotective mechanisms against pathogens. Mutations in SP110 can lead to hepatic venoocclusive disease with immunodeficiency (VODI), characterized by T and B cell immunodeficiency, absent tissue plasma cells, absent lymph node germinal centers, and severe hypogammaglobulinemia. Alternative splicing produces five Sp110 isoforms, with isoform 3 (Sp110b) specifically interacting with Hepatitis C core protein, suggesting a role in viral pathogenesis.
