Sox-13 Antibody (B-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Sox-13 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Sox-13 (B-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Sox-13 protein plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during development, particularly in differentiating various cell types. Sox-13 protein is primarily located in the nucleus, where Sox-13 functions as a transcription factor, binding to specific DNA sequences to modulate target gene transcription. Nuclear localization allows Sox-13 protein to influence developmental processes and cell fate decisions, essential for proper embryonic development and organogenesis. Dysregulation of Sox-13 protein has been implicated in various human diseases, including developmental disorders and certain cancers, highlighting Sox-13′s importance in maintaining normal cellular functions and developmental pathways.
