Soggy-1 Antibody (E-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Soggy-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Soggy-1 (E-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Soggy-1 protein, also known as DkkL1, plays a crucial role as a secreted antagonist of the Wnt signaling pathway, which is essential for numerous developmental processes such as embryogenesis and central nervous system patterning. Soggy-1 is expressed in preimplantation mouse embryos, developing neural tissue, and adult testis, where Soggy-1 helps regulate the spatial and temporal patterns of Wnt activity by interacting with Wnt ligands and their receptors. Notably, Soggy-1 undergoes post-translational modifications, particularly glycosylation, which can influence stability and activity, although additional modifications remain to be fully characterized.
