SNX5 Antibody (F-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Sorting nexin-5 (SNX5) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SNX5 antibody (F-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SNX5 plays a crucial role in intracellular trafficking, particularly in sorting and transport of membrane proteins. SNX5 is primarily located in endosomal compartments of cells, where SNX5 interacts with various receptors, including epidermal growth factor receptor, to facilitate transport to lysosomes for degradation. This process regulates receptor levels on cell surface, influencing cellular signaling pathways and maintaining homeostasis. SNX5 forms complexes with other sorting nexins and cellular proteins, underscoring SNX5′s importance in dynamic regulation of membrane protein trafficking.
