SNAT4 Antibody (F-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects SNAT4 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SNAT4 (F-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SNAT4, also known as SLC38A4, is a member of the sodium-coupled neutral amino acid transporter family, which plays a crucial role in the uptake of essential nutrients and the regulation of metabolic processes. SNAT4 is predominantly expressed in the liver, where SNAT4 facilitates the transport of neutral amino acids, thereby contributing to energy production and metabolic homeostasis. SNAT4′s location in the liver is particularly important, as this placement underscores SNAT4′s role in nutrient absorption and metabolism, which are vital for maintaining overall health and supporting fetal development. Inhibition of SNAT4 has been linked to fetal growth retardation, highlighting SNAT4′s significance in developmental biology.
