SNAI1 Antibody (E-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody engineered to detect SNAI1, also known as Snail family transcriptional repressor 1 or SNAIL, specifically of human origin. SNAI1 monoclonal antibody (E-10) recognizes an epitope spanning amino acids 21-150 within the internal region of the human SNAI1 protein, ensuring effective performance in applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SNAI1 is a pivotal zinc-finger transcription factor predominantly localized in the nucleus, where SNAI1 regulates gene expression by repressing target genes involved in epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). EMT is a crucial process for embryonic development, tissue regeneration, and cancer metastasis, making the nuclear presence of SNAI1 essential for controlling cellular differentiation, migration, and survival. SNAI1′s ability to modulate these processes underscores SNAI1′s importance in both normal physiological functions and pathological conditions. Anti-SNAI1 antibody (E-10) is available in both non-conjugated form and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for diverse experimental needs. Whether utilized in basic research or therapeutic development, SNAI1 (E-10) antibody delivers reliable performance, enabling scientists to explore the intricate roles of SNAI1 in cellular functions and disease mechanisms.

How much protein do you recommend loading on the gel for Western blot detection using SNAI 1 (E-10): sc-393172?

Asked by: jenni
We recommend loading 40–60 µg whole cell lysate, 10–20 µg nuclear extract, 5-10 µg transfected lysate, or 10–20 ng purified protein per lane. A link to our complete Western blotting protocol is provided here for your reference. https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/western-immuno-blotting
