Slfn11 Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Slfn11 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Slfn11 antibody (E-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The Schlafen family, to which Slfn11 belongs, is primarily expressed in lymphoid tissues and plays a crucial role in regulating T cell development and function. Slfn11 (E-4) antibody targets a protein involved in suppressing cell growth and maintaining T cell quiescence, which is vital for preventing unwanted immune responses. Slfn11 is characterized by a conserved core domain, with significant diversification at the N terminus, which may influence functional interactions. Slfn11 expression is intricately linked to thymocyte maturation, and Slfn11 regulation can impact the phenotypic characteristics of thymic subsets. Understanding Slfn11 and its family members is essential for elucidating their roles in immune regulation and potential implications in autoimmune diseases and T cell-related disorders.

Do you have a recommended protocol for intracellular staining with this antibody for Flow Cytometry?

The conjugated primary antibody is recommended and warrantied for flow cytometry (FCM), however we are still gathering data to show on our website. Check back for updates! I am using Slfn11 Antibody (E-4): sc-374339 for Western blot. How do I know if the band I am detecting is specific?

Antibody binding to antigen may be blocked/competed by pre-absorption with the blocking peptide.
