Slfn11 Antibody (D-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Slfn11 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Slfn11 (D-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The Schlafen family, to which Slfn11 belongs, is primarily expressed in lymphoid tissues and plays a crucial role in the regulation of immune responses, particularly during thymocyte maturation. Slfn11, also known as Schlafen family member 11, is a 901 amino acid protein that functions as a suppressor of cell growth, contributing to the maintenance of T cell quiescence. Slfn11 expression is intricately linked to the cell cycle, as Slfn11 is thought to induce G0/G1 arrest, thereby influencing apoptosis and the overall immune response. The Slfn11 structure features a conserved core domain, which is essential for function, while the N-terminal region exhibits significant diversity among family members, suggesting a complex regulatory mechanism that may impact T cell development and differentiation. Understanding Slfn11 and its interactions within the Schlafen family is vital for elucidating the mechanisms underlying T cell regulation and potential therapeutic targets in immune-related disorders.
