SLC43A3 Antibody (E-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects SLC43A3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SLC43A3 antibody (E-10) is available as a non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. SLC43A3, also known as solute carrier family 43, member 3, EEG1 (embryonic epithelia gene 1), FOAP-13, PRO1659, or SEEEG-1, is a 491 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that plays a crucial role in the transport of metabolites and nutrients essential for developmental processes, particularly during organogenesis. SLC43A3 is highly expressed in macrophages and is integral to epithelial development, facilitating the formation of cell sheets and hollow tubes that are vital for membrane interface and molecular transport. SLC43A3 undergoes various post-translational modifications, including glycosylation, which can influence stability, localization, and interaction with other proteins, thereby impacting functional capacity in cellular processes. Multiple isoforms of SLC43A3 arise from alternative splicing events, adding complexity to regulatory mechanisms and functional roles in different tissues.
